The official story of 9/11 is a conspiracy theory in that the government claims 19 hijackers conspired together to hijack four planes and create terror in the world. Four American airplanes were hijacked; two were driven into the World Trade Centers and the third airplane into the Pentagon. The fourth airplane suspected target was the White House, but it was diverted by the brave men and women aboard that hijacked airplane, and crashed the airline jet before it could reach its target. It was like time stood still as America watched through television broadcast these unbelievable and horrifying events taking place. The reports told of the smell the jet fuel, burning flesh, and people jumping out windows to their death to escape the flames.†¦show more content†¦There are specific time lines of events that took place leading up to September 11, which will show the US possible involvement and their non-intervention. When the US was warned about the possibility of a terrorist att ack on US soil, why was the threat not taken seriously? Some of the lower grade official (CIA), took the threat to be very seriously, but were told to dismiss the warnings, by top their superiors. September 10, 2001, a number of the Pentagon’s top brass suddenly cancel travel plans for the next morning, apparently because of security concerns. The airlines security system was not up graded to possible terrorists attack alert. â€Å"The (WTC) collapse appeared to be similar to a controlled demolition† (Thomas, 07/08/2011). Many speculated that the towers were in fact blown down with explosives placed in selected locations. Some witnesses accounted hearing explosions inside the building as they attempted to escape the building. Many architects and scientists maintain that jet fuel cannot produce enough heat to melt the steel frame of the two buildings. There were no planes to hit building 7 of the trade center, but it was demolished in the same fashion as the twin tower s were. Data from 32 damaged (WTC) computers showed a surge of financial transaction shortly before the attack.
